Earth\Studies Researchers selected the specimens for the Incense Stone project through an intuitive process, following our affinity through an ocean of minerals. Each stone has been modified through the use of a custom mechanism to allow for the insertion of a standard stick of incense. Through this creation of negative space we have realized an aspect of many philosophical systems regarding form and emptiness.
